Comedian AY Co-Star In A Movie With Juliet Ibrahim

Nigerian comedian AY Makun is the lead role in his first movie. The movie is a Ghana flick titled Number One Fan produced by gorgeous Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim and directed by Moses Iwang. 

The movie also stars Yemi Blaq, KC Ejelonu, Sonia and Juliet Ibrahim, Kitan and Zainab from Big Brother.

Court asks Dr Soleye To Pay Ex-wife N45million Divorce Settlement

Encomium magazine is reporting that Nike Oshinowo's estranged husband, Dr Tunde Soleye has been asked by a Lagos High Court to give his ex-wife Dr Mrs Funmilayo Soleye 100, 000 pounds and N20million as divorce settlement, and also relinquish their London home to her.
Mrs Funmi Soleye filed for divorce after her husband of 28 years and father of her three children, Tunde Soleye married former beauty queen, Nike Oshinowo traditionally. The court did not only grant Mrs Soleye divorce request, they also asked Nike Oshinowo to compensate her by paying her N5million for wrecking her marriage and causing her pain.

Yesterday, he posted a picture of himself and video vixens, Natalie Nunn and Bria Myles, having dinner in London. He tagged the Instagram photo: “Dinner with my girls”.

Nunn from the Olu Maintain video ‘Nawti’ and Wizkid rocked face hats while Myles who has worked with the likes of Kanye West and Trey Songz went geek chic.

Later, the EME artiste showed the night went down pretty well when he tweeted: “Sick night,” he  also posted  another picture this morning looking exhausted.

The award-wining dude and Chocolate City singer has acquired an auto, 2010 Toyota Camry for a whopping N7m recently, as we learnt, in Lagos after all these times his song has been hitting the airwaves.

The talented singer who recently released his debut album is already reaping the rewards of patience and hard work. Sources close to the artist say he’s very happy about his new acquisition as it’s his first car.

Some weeks ago, news filtered everywhere that Yoruba actress, Taiwo Aromokun was secretly married in London to a London-based lover, Olayemi Abimbola popularly called 'Ogun Re' by many in Holland.

Soon after the wedding to 'Ogun Re', the actress took a swipe on Nigerian men living in Nigeria claiming that all they (Nigerian men living in Nigeria) know how to do is to use and dump 'celebrities' like her. She then reportedly stated that it now became necessary for 'them (celebs)' to go for guys based abroad. 

Photos- EFCC Arraigns House Of Rep Member Gebi Over Dud Cheques Worth N125m

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today arraigned Aliyu Gebi of the House of Representatives before the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja on a 13-count charge of issuing dud cheques worth over 125 million Naira to one Usman Mustapha.

According to the EFCC, one of the charges reads as follows: “That you, Hon. Aliyu Gebi, being the owner and sole signatory of Craft Technology Ltd and Craft Technology Ltd on or about the 12/01/2012 at Abuja Judicial Division of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory did obtain credit by issuing a UBA Plc cheque No. 00091852 in the sum of N10,000.000.00 (Ten Million naira)  only in favour of Musty Petroleum Ltd. which when presented within three months was dishonored on the ground that there was insufficient fund in the account and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 1 (b) (I)  of the dishonored cheque ( offences) Act, 2004 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.”

 

Justice Abba Mohammed granted the accused person bail on self-recognition and ordered that he deposit his international passport with the EFCC and to report to the Commission whenever he is needed.

Trial was set for February 19, 2013.

Please help me ask Mr. Honorable, with all the money he collects; he still issues dud cheques?? Na real wa.

Falilu and Toheeb Are Missing

Falilu and Toheeb

Falilu and Toheeb both 3 years old were last seen on Friday 25th January 2013. They both live in the same compound of number 18 Taike Street, Ikosi ketu Lagos.

It was learnt that the toddlers were playing in front of the compound when suddenly, no one saw them again and the parents have not heard anything since Friday.

One of the father said that a woman selling alcoholic drinks close to our street claimed that she saw the two kids. On getting to her, we met  a man who promised to bring the kids to us by 1am and he spoke with so much confidence.

“When we called him at the said time, he told us to call again in an hour. When he was not forthcoming, we reported the matter to the police at Ketu division.”

This is the second time in a week that something like this happened in Ketu axis.

Anyone with useful information on these two kids should contact Ketu Police station .

Man Sentenced To 3-years In Jail For Stealing BlackBerry

The man was sentenced to three years in jail for stealing a telephone handset worth N17, 000 even as pension thief who stole N2billion is freed

Less than 24 hours after an Abuja High Court sentenced Pension Thief John Yakubu Yusuf to two years in prison for admitting to stealing around N2 billion, an Ikare Magistrate Court in Ondo State has sentenced another man to three years in prison for stealing a telephone handset worth N17, 000.

The Abuja court had on Monday sentenced the former director of the Police Pension Board , John Yakubu Yusuf, to two-year imprisonment.

EFCC Re-arrests Pension Thief For False Declaration Of Assets

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission today re- arrested Mr. John Yusuf, a former director of the Police Pension fund who had earlier been set free by an Abuja high court for stealing $203 million from the Police pension fund.

EFCC spokesperson Mr. Wilson Uwujaren  said Mr. Yesufu is currently being detained at the Abuja office of the the EFCC for false declaration of assets. He stated that the former pension administrator will soon face fresh charges.

Ijebu Ode Grammar School was founded on Monday 20th January 1913 in a private building  given by Late Pator J.B Sadare. The  founder and first Principal of the school was the Late Rev. S.J Gansallo. Below is the picture of the first students of the school in 1913.

A 71 year-old-woman has been arrested  for prostitution at Glastonbury hotel in Connecticut.

Authorities were tipped off to Sygun Liebhart's alleged prostitution activities by an advertisement in the classified section of Backpage.com.

Liebhart, according to police, promoted herself in the escort section of the website under the name "Lola." The ad is now defunct, however a cached version of an ad for a "Lola" who was working in that area at the time reads:
